Pipe & Duct Lag
Pipe & Duct Lag Noise Barrier
Our Pipe & Duct Lag is a composite material featuring a flexible 1lb, reinforced-foil faced, mass loaded vinyl barrier bonded to a 2″ thick scrim-faced quilted sound absorber/decoupler used to wrap noise pipes, ducts, valves and fan housings.
Typically used to wrap noisy pipes and ducts to block the noise that transmits thorugh the walls of the pipe or duct as air or other contents move through it. It will also increase sound absorption within the cavity. This will provide sound absorption and thermal insulation around the pipe or ductwork. The 2″ thick quilted fiberglass absorber improves low frequency acoustical performance. The reinforced-foil exterior readily accepts a matching lag tape for easy installation.
